Video cassettes
VHS, S-VHS, VHS-C, Video8, Hi8, Digital8, MiniDV, HDV and other family or camera tapes, normally delivered as convenient MP4 files.
Audio recordings
Compact audio cassettes, reel-to-reel tapes, DAT, MiniDisc and selected studio formats, supplied as WAV or MP3 files.
Super 8 and Normal 8 film
Cine film is scanned frame by frame. Sound capture, stabilization and careful enhancement are available when they genuinely improve the result.
Photos, slides and negatives
Printed photographs, mounted slides and 35 mm negatives at several resolutions, prepared for sharing, printing or archival storage.
Professional and rare formats
Betacam, DVCAM, U-matic, NTSC and other broadcast or studio formats are assessed individually because they require specialist equipment.
Fragile or damaged media
Broken, tangled or moldy tapes should not be played at home. We inspect them and agree any cleaning or repair before digitization.

Standard video and audio cassettes
One unit is one cassette with up to one hour of recorded material. Every additional started hour counts as another unit. The rate is based on the total number of units in the order.

Send or bring the originals
Bring the material to our studio near Ljubljana by appointment, or send a tracked parcel after we confirm packing details.
Inspection and digitization
We confirm what arrived, inspect the material and digitize it on appropriate equipment. Extra repair or cleaning is agreed first.
Files, payment and return
We check the result and provide the final amount. After payment, you receive the files and all originals by collection or tracked delivery.
Slovenia, EU and international orders
You do not need to live near Ljubljana
We regularly handle orders remotely. Contact us first so we can confirm the material, return method, VAT treatment and the details that should travel with your parcel.
How to pack irreplaceable originals
Number tapes, reels or photo groups and keep original labels in place.
Place material in clean bags or boxes and add padding so it cannot move.
Include your name, email, telephone number and a short list of the contents.
Use tracked delivery and keep the tracking number until receipt is confirmed.
Delivery address and return
We confirm receipt after the parcel arrives. Finished files can be supplied by secure download or on digital storage, and original material is returned using the agreed tracked service.
Sending from outside the EU? Contact us before sending from Serbia, North Macedonia, the United Kingdom, Switzerland or another non-EU country. Customs documentation and return costs may be different.

How do I know which tape or film format I have?
You do not need to identify it yourself. Send a clear photo of the cassette, reel, label or packaging and we will identify the format and likely price category.
How is the price calculated?
A standard cassette includes up to one recorded hour. Each additional started hour counts as another unit. Film is calculated by recorded minutes and photographs by item and resolution.
Can I send originals from another EU country?
Yes. Contact us first, use tracked and well-padded postage and include your contact details. We confirm receipt and agree the return method.
Will I receive my originals back?
Yes. Originals are always returned after completion and are never discarded or shared.
What if a tape is damaged or moldy?
Do not play or rewind it. Send photographs first. We inspect fragile material and agree any cleaning or repair before starting.
Which digital files will I receive?
Video is normally MP4, audio WAV or MP3, and images high-resolution JPEG or TIFF. Other formats are available by agreement.
How long does digitization take?
For standard, undamaged tapes, approximate turnaround after arrival is 2–3 working days for 5 tapes, 3–5 for 10, 5–7 for 20 and 12–15 for 50. Longer recordings, repairs, specialist formats and busy periods may extend this.
Can a company receive an invoice without Slovenian VAT?
For qualifying B2B services this is normally possible when the company is established in another EU Member State and has a valid EU VAT number. We verify it in VIES and confirm the treatment before the order.
